- Computer System Incident
For the Week 4 assignment, under theAnalysissection of the plan, provide theInternet and Network Incidentsection of the plan. For this section, identify specific incidents and vulnerabilities against the network.
- Describe the importance of intrusion prevention/detection systems’ (IDS/IPS) log analysis by incident response teams for the identification of Internet and network threats and vulnerabilities; describe the threats and vulnerabilities discovered upon completion of an IDS/IPS log analysis.
- Describe the steps to prevent future Internet/network attacks, and mitigate current vulnerabilities.
- Also for Week 4, add theConclusionto the Digital Forensics Plan. The conclusion should restate the plan’s purpose, the main points, and the technical conclusions.
The Digital Forensics Plan should now be submitted as the Key Assignment draft with the following sections:

- Update the previously completed sections based on your instructor’s feedback.
- New content: Provide theInternet and Network Incidentsubsection as described above.
- New content: Provide theConclusionto the plan.
- Be sure to update your table of contents before submission.
- Name the document “IP4.doc.”
- This document will be the Key Assignment draft that will be submitted to the Discussion Board for review by your classmates.
