These instructions were followed on Macbook Make sure that the node is installed, it can be checked by running the following command node --version Then you can run the following command to create react native project npx react-native init YourProjectName Once the project is created, you can open it using Visual Studio Code by clicking on the File > Open and selecting the project folder that was just created.
